Human consciousness is becoming well renowned to have links to quantum theory, thus helping to validate it’s true meaning, potential and existence. Although there are still many questions as to how exactly consciousness works, we know that a connection between consciousness and physical material world does exist in some form. How much connection and how powerful is still not yet fully understood. Physicists at The Australian National University (ANU) have conducted John Wheeler’s delayed-choice thought experiment, which involves a moving object that is given the choice to act like a particle or a wave. Wheeler’s experiment then asks — at which point does the object decide?
Common sense says the object is either wave-like or particle-like, independent of how we measure it. But quantum physics predicts that whether you observe wave like behavior (interference) or particle behavior (no interference) depends only on how it is actually measured at the end of its journey. This is exactly what the ANU team found.
“It proves that measurement is everything. At the quantum level, reality does not exist if you are not looking at it,” said Associate Professor Andrew Truscott from the ANU Research School of Physics and Engineering.
Consciousness has been interlinked with ancient society’s and tribes for eons and many of the famous spiritual leaders and teachers have made some point of reference to consciousness among their words.
“We are what we think, all that we are arises with our thoughts, with our thoughts we make the world.” – Gautama Buddha
It can be quite confusing and complex for people to grasp consciousness if trying to understand all of its roots and pathways from a completely scientific perspective. However Consciousness is easily reachable for most people.
Achieving levels of consciousness can be attained by:
. No longer feeling completely separate. WE feel, know and experience one-ness with the universal energy field. We are points of energy, but energy has no limits, only characteristics.
. Through meditation and other spiritual practices including awareness (mindfulness), development of intuition and following the teachings of the ancient spiritual masters.
. Practising the essence of the power of this very moment (Power of now).
